Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, Ireland on November 11, in 1966. The model is as well as an Irish actor. Her first feature film appearance was a tiny role in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). She then developed a career of commercial modelling. Doody was very strict about not doing glamour or nude work. The same rule continued into her acting career. When she came to the director's attention for the role in a James Bond film, Doody accepted a minor role in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud known as the Hitler Diaries. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent and partner in Major League II. She was chosen to be the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody's return to the screen was in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. She played alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 film adaptation for television from King Solomon's Mines and also was a part of a short titled Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet about the Holocaust and in the British TV show Waking the Dead (in a two-part episode named. Doody had a minor role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was a guest on RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria Tierra de Film Award was awarded to her on the 21st of November the 21st of November, 2018. She also received a star on the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
